Building upon the phenomenal success of our campaign to celebrate the iconic cosmetics brand’s 50th year in the UK, Rain is now working with Avon’s in-house press team to celebrate its 125th birthday. Our dynamic social media campaign to find the ‘original Avon lady’ was just one highlight of our 50th anniversary campaign, which smashed all targets. As footage of the original UK ads had been lost, we orchestrated a successful online search via Facebook and Twitter and a blogger outreach campaign.
Showcasing Avon’s commitment to Breast Cancer Research – it raises more money than any other corporation in the world – as well as securing widespread double-page and full-page feature coverage in the nationals were major wins. Latest tactics are focused on boosting recruitment of Avon representatives and promoting the flexible working opportunities Avon offers for women.
